Our Junior 1-1 and Small Group courses are designed for individual or small groups of children and young people who want to increase their opportunities in education by studying English. Courses can be taken on their own, or in combination with one of our standard or online courses. The lessons are designed to work on any areas of weakness you have, and to enable you to make rapid progress in the language. They will help students develop confidence and fluency in their use of English.
We can offer courses in General English, Exam Preparation, Business English or English for Specific Purposes - in fact, anything you want.
We can also offer classes in specific subjects taught in English using a Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach
Classes are divided by level of English and age group, and all staff at Burlington School have training in safeguarding of children, and our Welfare and Safeguarding policies are followed at all times.
The classes use a range of methodologies and activities to help students learn and use the language. The private nature of the classes means that teachers can focus on specific areas to help students make progress as quickly as possible.
The classes are designed to be fun, supportive and motivating, and will develop children’s language and communication skills and prepare them for the world of education, leisure and work.
