Our High Intermediate level courses are for people with a good level of English who want to make further progress in the language. Typical learners at this level are able to use the main structures of the language with some confidence and have a wide range of vocabulary. They can adapt their language to a variety of situations, and they do not rely on fixed patterns of language or short, simple utterances. However, they may have trouble with some unfamiliar subject areas, and lack control over longer, more complex language.
The core classes focus on all aspects of the language, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking, listening, reading and writing.
The elective classes build on the language from the core classes, with a focus on communication and practical skills.
All our lessons give students the opportunity to learn and use English in realistic situations, and our teachers give regular homework to help you practice.
The classes use a range of methodologies and activities to help students learn and use the language. The classes use a set coursebook, and these are supplemented with authentic materials, video and interactive technology.
There are regular progress tests and tutorials, which helps the teachers identify students’ strengths and weakness, and allows the students to check their progress in English.
Elective classes are specially designed to supplement and reinforce language acquisition. Students have the option of choosing these courses to enhance their four skills and attain a higher level of English proficiency. These courses help improve specific skills in preparation for greater career opportunities.
This course reinforces speaking and listening skills. Learners develop the ability to understand and use spoken English with good pronunciation and a more natural-sounding accent.

The main focus of the conversation class is to give students the skills to be able to express themselves in everyday situations. Pronunciation, vocabulary and idioms are learned and practiced to further develop conversational skills.
