Homestay
Our Homestay option offers students the chance to experience real British life while studying in London. Living with a local host provides daily opportunities to practise English, share meals, and be part of a welcoming home environment.
Each homestay accommodates no more than four students, ensuring comfort and personal attention. All hosts and household members aged 18 or over are DBS-checked for safety and peace of mind.
Located in safe residential areas, most homestays are within 30 minutes of the school. It’s the perfect choice for students who want to enjoy London life while feeling at home.

Homestay Dining Experience
Breakfast and dinner are provided by your homestay host, giving you the chance to enjoy authentic home-cooked British meals and experience everyday life in a London household. From a classic English breakfast to comforting family dinners, you’ll discover local flavours and traditions that make your stay truly special.
Sharing meals is also a great opportunity to practise your English naturally, chat with your host family, and learn more about London culture and lifestyle.
Lunch is served at the school, so you can enjoy delicious food with your friends before your classes. Vegetarian and Halal options are available, and other dietary requirements can be arranged upon request.

Safeguarding, Welfare & Support
All our homestay hosts are carefully selected and DBS-checked, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for every student. Hosts are all responsible adults aged 18 or over, offering a family-based setting where students can feel secure and cared for.
At Burlington School of English, the wellbeing and safety of our students are always our top priority. Whether you’re living onsite or with a host family, we want every student to feel safe, supported, and confident throughout their time with us.
Our Safeguarding, Welfare & Prevent Team is always available to listen, help, and take action if you ever feel worried or have any concerns about yourself or someone else.
24/7 Care and Emergency Support
Our commitment to student welfare continues beyond school hours. We provide 24-hour emergency support, so help is always just a call away.
At Burlington, every student matters. Our safeguarding team is trained to respond quickly, sensitively and with care, ensuring every student feels protected, respected and free to enjoy their learning and living experience in London.
