WELFARE TEAM

Burlington School and Residence has a multilingual management team. There is always a trained first aider and a live-in supervisor, so students are cared for 24 hours a day.

ACCOMMODATION

Burlington offers a mix of single, twin, triple and multi-bedded rooms. Male and female students are always housed in separate rooms and, where possible, on different floors. There are always two live-in members of staff on site.

AIRPORT TRANSFER

We provide a transfer service for students arriving at all London airports and international terminals.

You will be met by one of the school’s drivers, who will take you to your accommodation.

All our drivers are subject to an enhanced DBS check.

STAFF

Our senior management team are available for all students to approach with any problems.

The school has a designated safeguarding lead who is supported by other qualified safeguarding staff.

All our staff are subject to an enhanced DBS check and hold certificates in safeguarding.

ACTIVITIES & EXCURSIONS

All our students who go on organised excursions outside of their classroom time are accompanied by at least one member of staff, depending on group size.

Excursions are fully risk-assessed, and all travel arrangements comply with our Safeguarding and Welfare procedures.

DISCRIMINATION & ANTI-BULLYING

All students, employees, sub-contractors and other representatives will be treated fairly and with respect.

We will not tolerate discrimination on the grounds of gender, gender reassignment, marital status (including civil partnerships), race, ethnic origin, colour, nationality, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, religion or age.
