Portsmouth is the birthplace of Charles Dickens and was home to Arthur Conan Doyle, author of Sherlock Holmes and also Rudyard Kipling, author of the Jungle Book, all of whom are celebrated in local museums




Bournemouth is famous for its 7 miles of sandy beaches. Having its own micro-climate means it enjoys warmer weather than the rest of Britain. It also has 2,000 acres of glorious parks and gardens to enjoy. Don’t forget your bucket and spade!

Harry potter studio tour


Visit the magical world of Harry Potter. At the Warner brother studios see everything from the iconic sets which were used in the film, to the costumes used and find out how the special effects were created. You can even ride a broomstick. At the end of the tour buy a special souvenir from the studio shop.


Chessington world of adventures


Chessington world of adventure is two parks in one: a thrilling theme park with rides for both young and old. Also, a zoo and sealife centre. Come and watch a daily show such as a seal lion show or find out more about sharks or otters. Walk through an ocean tunnel.
